Easy to grow Red Currant is perfect for the home orchard! Long, dangling clusters of bright red currants ripen in mid summer. While tart, the fruit can be eaten right off the bush. Excellent for making colorful pies, jams, jellies and sauces. Every 3 years, cut back to the ground older branches that have already fruited. Allow plenty of air circulation around plant. Self-pollinating.
