Hoyas are often called ‘wax plants’ due to their waxy leaves and flowers. In Hoya callistophylla, the leaves are oval-shaped, vivid green, with dark green nerves making a unique pattern on the surface. Its main feature, however, is the flowers. Like all Hoyas, it produces umbrella-shaped blooms. The flowers are usually white or pale yellow, with dark red edges and a pleasant fragrance.
