One of the most reliable shrubs for consistent, spectacular red fall color. Compact burning bush is a smaller version of its parent with dense, slender stems creating an overall rounded outline. Leaves emerge fresh green in the spring turning brilliant, long-lasting red in the fall. Due to its uniform habit it makes a wonderful no-prune hedge as well as an accent or foundation plant. While it will tolerate part sun, the most brilliant fall color will occur when planted in full sun.
