The Shingle plant earned its name as a climbing houseplant that grows flat against its support, giving the appearance of shingles on a roof. It looks best with porous support on which to ascend. It’s relatively slow-growing but can get several feet tall indoors. Eventually, with good care, it becomes a striking floor plant.
