Constellation is a vigorous, low-branched flowering dogwood that does not produce fruit. Layered, spreading branches are decorated with long-lasting creamy white flowers (bracts) in June. Disease resistant, dark green leaves turn reddish purple in fall. For best growth this tree requires loose, acidic and well-draining soil. We recommend amending heavy clay soil with shredded pine bark and adding soil sulfur to make it more acidic. Makes a lovely specimen in front of the house or near the patio.
