Developed at the Chicago Botanic Garden this variety is known for its resistance to "winterburn" and keeping its good green color throughout the winter months. Grows relatively slowly and needs only occasional trimming to maintain its compact, rounded form. This garden staple can be utilized in a myriad of ways: hedging, topiary work, groupings and in containers. Easy to grow and shade tolerant but make sure the soil drains well - boxwood do not like "wet feet."
Note: All boxwoods from Chalet are final sale. Boxwoods are non-refundable due to risk of spreading pathogens.
