A variety of our native sumac with finer, serrated leaves that turn amazing kaleidoscope of orange, red and yellow in the fall. Unusual pyramidal fruiting clusters at the tips of the branches ripen red in fall and are enjoyed by birds. Stout, spreading branches create a broad rounded form. If conditions are favorable the plant can spread quite a bit from suckers. Easy to grow in any soil that's not wet. Great for naturalizing in large areas or used as a dramatic accent plant, especially with modern architecture.
Plants are constantly growing, ever-changing, and therefore unique. The plant you receive may vary from the photo, but rest assured, holds the same glorious potential!
