Anthurium Clarinervium is a magnificent foliage plant and a “must-have” for houseplant collectors. Its distinct features give it an exotic look. Its leaves are dark green in color, heart-shaped and thick with a velvety texture and white veins forming an intricate pattern. It’s also a flowering plant that produces blossoms in bright solid colors. Its flowers are unique in that they do not have petals like you would see on more common flowers. The blossom of these flowers look like a bright-colored leaf with a thick and glossy shine. Anthurium Clarinervium is a member of the Araceae family. It is native to the southern part of Mexico and grows naturally as an epiphyte. This is a low maintenance and easy to grow plant. Its sturdy stem makes it very durable.
- Light: Prefers indirect sunlight and heat. Cannot survive in direct sunlight or extreme heat. Will develop burns. Place your plant a bit away from your windows to prevent it from getting too much sunlight.
- Mature Height: When healthy, this plant can grow up to 25 in in height and can spread about 40 inches.
- Water: Loves humidity and moisture. Keep soil slightly moist during growing season. The plant will need watering only when the topsoil feels a little dry to touch.
