This dwarf, self-pollinating blueberry is delightfully easy to grow in containers. Features beautiful foliage in ever-changing colors ranging pink to orange to emerald green, then turning deep purple in fall. Dainty clusters of white, bell-shaped flowers are followed by sweet blueberries in mid-summer. In the garden blueberries require acidic, well-drained soil and full sun for best performance. For heavier clay soils, the addition of soil sulfur helps to lower the pH while shredded pine or pine fines will improve aeration and drainage. While self-pollinating, a different blueberry planted nearby will improve both the fruit size and quantity.
