Tough, medium-sized spirea makes a pretty blooming hedge or filler plant for the shrub border. Similar, but much smaller, than the old-fashioned Bridalwreath spirea. Stiff, upright-arching branches are smothered in bright white flowers in late spring. Small, dark blue-green foliage takes trimming well. Easy to grow in almost any soil as long as it's not soggy.
