Our plants and lawns developed shallow root systems in response to our plentiful spring rainfall. That moisture is long gone, however. Now it's hot and plants are stressed in spite of an occasional stray storm. Remember to check annuals and containers daily, as well as lawns, trees, shrubs, and perennials twice a week. Periodic deep watering may be required. If you have any questions about your lawn, please don't hesitate to call our Soit & Turf department at 847-688-0561. If you need advice on watering your plants feel free to contact our store at 847-256-0561. For tips on watering hanging baskets, see this quick video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2EY0YBPnow.

A unique opportunity that Chalet offers is a specialized sale of our Farm products. In season, typically June through September, our Garden Center hosts Farm Truck Fridays. On Friday mornings you will see the Farm Truck in our parking lot offering special deals on selected farm plants. It’s an extremely popular event and a great opportunity to purchase Chalet Grown product at a deeply reduced price.
This year, you have four days each week to take advantage of great deals from our Farm Truck. Chalet's Farm Truck will be featured at 3 different locations in the southern WI area (including two farmers markets), plus our own Farm Truck Fridays! As our plant offerings will differ at each location throughout the week, you'll need to stop by to see what surprises are in store!
