Consider trimming your trees in the next month or so because 1) it can reduce the spread of insects and diseases that over-wintered there; 2) a trimming crew can better work under a tree without damaging emerging or existing flowers; 3) if heavy equipment is needed, frozen ground reduces the possible damage to tree roots and surrounding landscapes. Be sure to use a certified arborist!
